Advent Calendar: Angels Watching

Angels watch over two sleeping children in this sparkly, glittery nighttime scene. How those kids can sleep through all that angelic commotion is anyone's guess. Illustrator: Lore Hummel. Made in Germany by the Korsch Verlag Company; they began making Advent Calendars in Munich in 1951. 8 1/2" tall x 11 1/2" wide.
