Saori Chalk Stripe Nerikomi Mug

This mug has a chalk stripe pattern made by applying the Nerikomi technique. It was created by the steady work of layering thinly stretched porcelain clay slab and colors to create a delicate striped pattern.

The edge are intentionally not trimmed to create a playful and comfortable feel. Very thin and lightweight. Because each piece is made by hand and the rim is designed to be made without aligning straight, the actual shape may differ slightly from the photo.
