Important: These posts are UC3 treated rather than UC4, so they are not recommended for installation directly into the ground. For ground-contact applications, we recommend using a suitable UC4-treated post.
Clearance Stock: As a natural timber product, these posts may contain knots, shakes, splits, wane, surface checking, colour variations, weathering or slight twisting/movement. Larger-section timber such as 175mm x 175mm posts is particularly prone to developing visible shakes and splits as it naturally dries, especially during warmer weather.
These characteristics are part of the natural behaviour of timber and are reflected in the clearance price.
