Some pieces may have more imperfections than others, so we recommend these for projects where customers are happy to accept the natural and clearance characteristics of the timber.

As with all substantial sections of natural timber, shakes and splits can develop or become more noticeable as the timber dries, particularly during periods of warm or dry weather.

Important: These sleepers are UC3 pressure treated, which is intended for exterior above-ground use. They are not classed as UC4 for direct or permanent ground-contact applications.
